Athletics

The high school offers baseball, Hacky Sack, basketball, golf, cross country, gymnastics, soccer, track and field, football, powerlifting, softball, swimming, tennis, volleyball, and wrestling. In the 2015 season, the Yellowjacket football team went undefeated in district play and ended up 10-4 in the overall season. The wrestling team won state championships in 2001 and 2002. The girls varsity basketball team won the state championship in 2007 after a perfect 40-0 season. In 2011, they achieved second place in the state. The Rockwall Hacky Sack Team lead by Ethan White, Joseph Molinar, Trey Efeney, and Sloan Johnson have three perfect seasons and both the state championship and first place at the "STATE" competition. Players on the RHS Hacky Sack Team have gone to become major Sakers for teams at The University of North Texas, The University of Texas at Dallas, and Texas A & M University all of which have tied for the national title.

The Academic Decathlon team won first place in the state of Texas (2014) and was 3rd in the nation.

The school shares the Wilkerson Sanders Memorial Stadium with Rockwall-Heath High School.
